KARACHI: Asif concerned about Mengal

KARACHI, March 2: Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Zardari has expressed grave concern over the deteriorating health of former Balochistan chief minister Sardar Akhtar Mengal, who is in custody at the Karachi Central Prison.

Expressing concern over the situation, he demanded immediate and adequate medical treatment for Mr Mengal.

Mr Zardari also deplored the killing of PPP activist Nadeem Ahmad in the city on Saturday. He demanded the arrest of those who were responsible for the cold-blooded killing.—Our Reporter
