ISLAMABAD, Feb 11: The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry is all set to participate in 27 trade fairs in Turkey to help enhance trade between the two countries.

This was stated by the President of ICCI Ijaz Abbasi said while talking to the Regional Director and President of Pak-Turk Businessmen Foundation, A. Cuneyt Tumrntpiran here on Monday.

He said that despite having close relations, trade between Pakistan and Turkey was just around $ 500 million which he said needed to be enhanced.

He said that there was vast scope for enhancing cooperation in trade, tourism and mine sectors besides cooperating in the fields of science and technology.

Mr Tumrntpiran said that Pakistani exporters could export rice, textile items, and leather products to Turkey.
