Couple among four shot dead

SARGODHA, Feb 10: Four people, including a couple, were shot dead over what police claimed enmity on Sargodha-Faisalabad Road on Sunday.

Reports said Ijaz Baig and his wife Noor Jehan, residents of Chenabnagar, along with their driver and gunman, were going back to their home from Sargodha. Near police barrier at Chak 58-SB, two motorcyclists opened fire on them, killing Ijaz on the spot. His wife, driver and gunman died in hospital.

The Atta Shaheed police described the incident as an outcome of old enmity, but did not register a case till last reports came in.
