Oil pipeline damaged
JACOBABAD, Feb 7: Some miscreants tried to detonate two bombs on 24-inch oil pipeline of Parco, carrying oil to Punjab at Dakhan Bungalow in the Kashmore area on Thursday.
One bomb exploded and damaged the pipeline while the other was defused by the bomb disposal squad.
A heavy contingent of police and Rangers rushed to the scene and recovered a live rocket from the Katcha area.
A case has been registered by the Gullanpur Police against unknown persons.
No arrest was made till the filing of report.
BOY KIDNAPPED: An eight-year old boy was kidnapped by two men on Thursday.
The boy Kashif was taken away by two motorcyclists from Gharibabad Mohalla. People of the area on hearing the news gathered and blocked the road by burning tyres.
Later, DPO reached the spot and assured early recovery of the boy.
