Easy win for Sir Syed College

KARACHI, Feb 3: Sir Syed College forged ahead in the Karachi Board Inter-collegiate girls’ badminton championship chalking up a convincing 2-0 victory over Government College for Women North Nazimabad, block K, at the Karachi College for Women the other day.

In the two other matches, Khatoon-i-Pakistan College got a walkover against Apwa College while Commerce and Economics College earned a walkover against Government College for Women, Frere Road.

Monday’s fixtures:

Bahria College M. T. Khan Road v DHA Higher Secondary School; KMA College v Home Economics College; Government College block 16, F. B. Area v Government College 11½ Orangi Town.—Sports Correspondent
