Aga Khan School win

KARACHI, Feb 3: The Aga Khan Higher Secondary School outclassed The City School 2-0 in the first match of the sixth Aga Khan University (AKU) Inter School/Collegiate girls’ throwball tournament which started at the AKU Gymnasium on Saturday.

Shahnila Liaquat and Tooba Baqai played a pivotal part in their team’s victory.

In the second match, Bayview High School defeated Meritorious School Network 2-0. Manal Ahmed and Sara Hassan performed outstandingly to lead their side to victory.

In the third match of the day, Lyceum School ‘B’ came from behind to beat St Patrick’s High School 2-1.

The winners lost the first game 12-15 but with the efforts of Saira Rajput and Tuba Omer managed to secure the next two games with scores of 15-10 and 15-8, respectively.—Agencies
