Sindh shuttlers leave for Pindi

KARACHI, Dec 25: An 11-member Sindh squad left for Rawalpindi by train on Tuesday to compete in the National juniors’ badminton championships which take place from Dec 27 to 31.

Mahrukh Essa and Monisha Kotia will defend their crowns in the under-19 and under-16 categories.

Squad:

Boys: Ali Mehdi, Hasan Zaidi, Sohail Abbas, Kumail Abbas, Nisar Ahmed, Shafiq, Naseer and Abdul Basit.

Girls: Mahrukh Essa, Monisha Kotia and Mehwish Zaman.

Officials: Mahiya Moin (manager), Rifat Lodhi (coach).
