SANGHAR, Dec 20: A passer-by girl was killed and Berani union council naib nazim was wounded in an armed attack on him at Shahi bazaar Tando Adam, on Thursday.
Three attackers opened fire at naib nazim Ali Dino alias Khan Saheb Magsi in middle of the crowded bazaar. He was critically wounded.
The girl, Anisa, daughter of Muzaffar Qureshi, who had come there with her parents for shopping was hit and died on the spot.
Panic gripped the area as people ran for safety.
The wounded naib nazim was shifted to Liaquat University Hospital Hyderabad.
