Musharraf must go: Nawaz

KASUR, Dec 19: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Wednesday that “Musharraf must go in the interest of Pakistan.”

Addressing public meetings at Allahabad and Khudian, he said the sovereignty and survival of the country was in danger.

He said it was his party’s aim to end generals’ interference in politics, dearness and unemployment.

Nawaz Sharif was accorded warm welcome by thousands of PML-N workers and supporters at Allahabad and Khudian.

The former prime minister was also scheduled to visit Kasur but could not reach here reportedly due to bad weather. — Correspondent
