Unconscious girl remains unidentified

By Munawer Azeem

ISLAMABAD, Nov 26: A young girl who was found in an unconscious state near Zero Point on Saturday night, has still not regained consciousness and is lying in the intensive care unit of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) in a critical condition.

The girl’s identity is still a mystery and the police are clueless. The fact that she is unconscious is of no help either in this regard.

The girl is said to be in her 20s. She was found unconscious, lying near the stairs of the Musawat building near Zero Point, her right foot wounded and her hip-bone fractured.

The police believe she was injured when she fell from a height. Nothing could be found from her possession that could help the police establish her identity, the police said.

Some passersby said they had heard the girl’s cries and rushed to her rescue. Later, they informed the police about this.
