Four new police pickets including one at F-10 have been established on Saturday and patrolling of the police had been increased.

The newly established Mohafiz Squad with 29 motorcycles was also taking part in patrolling along with the police and Rescue- 15 personnel.

“Snap checking has also been started in the capital to make sure nobody escapes police checking,” he said, “there are more than 70 police check posts in and around the capital to keep an eye on suspicious people and vehicles.”

Physical search of “suspicious people and vehicles are being conducted at all check posts while metal detector is also used at some places”, he added.
