KARACHI, Nov 14: Two outfits of the same institution – Beaconhouse Cambridge PECHS and Jubilee Campus – on Wednesday set a date for the girls’ title clash in the second Jinnah University Campus (JUC) Inter-school badminton tournament at the JUC premises.

The former ended the winning run of hosts JUC, handing them a 2-0 defeat while the latter also romped home straight against Foundation Public School (FPS).

However, the FPS earned some consolation by cruising in the boys final when they got the better of JUC 2-1. They are slated to meet The City School Gulshan Campus who edged Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus 2-0.

The two finals will be played on Thursday at 12.00noon. This will be followed by the table tennis finals.

Boys: Foundation Public School bt Jinnah University College 2-1; The City School Gulshan Campus bt Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus 2-0.

Girls: Beaconhouse Cambridge PECHS bt Jinnah University College 2-0; Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus bt Foundation Public School 2-0.

Thursday’s fixtures: (finals) Matches starts at 12.00noon.

Boys: Foundation Public School v The City School Gulshan Campus.

Girls: Beaconhouse Cambridge PECHS v Beaconhouse Jubilee Campus.
