Saleh, Imran triumph : World Snooker


KARACHI, Nov 13: Pakistan’s Saleh Mohammad made a strong comeback, defeating Thailand’s Noppadol Sangnil 4-3, while Imran Shahzad thrashed Oman’s Adnan Al-Baloushi 4-0 in the World Snooker Championship in Korat, Thailand, on Monday.

Saleh was initially 1-3 down but not in a mood to surrender. He bounced back and won the match 11-72, 85-2, 42-66, 56-76, 58-18, 59-12, 69-41.

Pakistan’s another player Imran Shahzad outclassed Adnan Al-Baloushi, wrapping up the game 89-28, 85-1, 54-2, 63-27.—PPI
