Police arrested a man who was allegedly injured while planting the bomb.

The traffic had been restored at noon but it was again disrupted seven hours later. Railway officials said the tracks would be repaired during the night.

Police said the suspect, Abdul Razaq, was a railway employee.

Meanwhile, the Sui Southern Gas Company restored gas supply to Quetta, Kalat, Mastung, Ziarat and Pishin by making alternative arrangements. The supply had been suspended after a pipeline blast in Kolpur area of Bolan district on Thursday night.
