MOHALI, Nov 9: India and Pakistan have been fined for slow over rates in Thursday’s second One-day International won by the touring side by four wickets. ICC match referee Roshan Mahanama imposed the fines after the teams were ruled to be one over short of their targets when time allowances were taken into consideration.
According to the ICC code of conduct regulations governing over-rate penalties, rival skippers Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Shoaib Malik were fined 10 percent of their match fees while the players each received five per cent fines.
