OKARA, Nov 3: Arthis (middlemen) of the fruit and vegetable market on Saturday observed strike against increase in market committee fee by the agri-marketing wing of the government.

Market committee president Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf said the fee was 0.40 paisa per quintal just two years ago and now it had been increased to Rs10 which was unjust and a burden on the poor agriculturists.
