Saadi to vie in world karate
LAHORE, Oct 3: Pakistan will field one player in the fifth World Junior and Cadet karate championship, starting in Istanbul, Turkey, from Oct 19.
Saadi Abbas with his Iranian coach Ahmad Safi represent the country in the championships.
Saadi has been selected after winning a gold medal in the 10th South Asian Games in Colombo, Sri Lanka, last year.—Sports Reporter
