KARACHI, Sept 19: Ten ships carrying rock phosphate, chemicals, steel coils and to load molasses are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Thursday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships, Adriatic Arrow to load cement, Corin Thaikos, Daji, APL Shenzhen, Fas Var to unload and load containers, Pearl River with general cargo and Lalazar with crude oil were berthed.

Sailing was also active as six ships, Sinar Bintan, Wan Hai-301, Kapitan Byankin, Hansa Century, Asian Queen and Aegean Tiger departed, while Fas Var, APL Shenzhen, Daji, Pearl River, Lalazar and Adriatic Arrow are due to sail out on Thursday.

A total tonnage of 0.103m tons comprising 18,907 tons of export cargo and 84,174 tons of import tonnage was handled on Wednesday.

The following ships are due on Thursday: Addarraq to load 20,000 tons of molasses, Shina with base oil, Stolt Ami with chemicals, Stolt Violet with tallow, Hyundai Sprinter, Clavin P. Titus, Bunga Kenari with containers, Jaikur-1 with rock phosphate, Global Progress with steel coils and Ibn Batouta with project cargo.
