KARACHI, Sept 11: The City Council on Tuesday released text of the resolution submitted to the house in its Monday session on the proposed construction of a five-star hotel near the Clifton beach.
The resolution calls for change of the use of land measuring 2.5 acres in Block 2, Scheme-5 near the beach so that a five-star hotel could be constructed as a public-private venture.
“To further consider the matter, the council gives its approval for sending it to the monitoring committee of the Master Plan Group officers according to the official memo No. MPGO/DO 7/2007 dated 18-6-2007,” said the resolution, which was adopted during the session.
