Venezuela cancels fuel oil tender

CARACAS, Sept 4: Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA has cancelled a 1.8 million barrel fuel oil sell tender, traders told Reuters on Tuesday.

One of the sources said PDVSA appeared to have scrapped the offer because it had received bids with a wide range of prices and loading dates.

Another source said the VLCC crude cargo was later rebid to four companies invited to participate in an auction won by China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). That source said CNPC would load the cargo in the Caribbean island Bonaire between Sept 10 and 12.—Reuters
