HYDERABAD, Aug. 8: The three-day anti-polio campaign, which began in all four talukas of Hyderabad district entered into its second day on Wednesday. Executive district officer (health), Dr Mohammad Sharif Rathor informed that the immunisation campaign was in full swing.

The vaccine would be administered to over 297,020 children less than five years of age.

He informed that 624 mobile health teams have been engaged in completing the task of immunising the children.

He said that polio drops were also being administered at 79 health centres and 31 transit points of the districts in order to ensure that all children should be immunised.—APP
