RIYADH, Aug 3: Saudi Arabia said on Friday it had beheaded five Pakistanis and one Nigerian for drug smuggling and armed robbery. The interior ministry said two Pakistanis were executed after they were convicted of drug trafficking and the three others after they were found guilty of forming a gang which carried out armed robberies.
The Nigerian was put to death for smuggling cocaine.
The ministry said Pakistani nationals Adnan Mohammad Ishfak, Zuhair Hossein Mohammad and Mohammad Naaman Mohammad formed a gang which stopped “a number of taxis and stole them after threatening their owners and taking their money.”
