THATTA: Poet hospitalised

THATTA, Aug 3: Sindhi poet Sarwech Sujawali has been admitted to a Karachi hospital reportedly due to reoccurrence of spinal cord tumor problem, family sources told Dawn here on Friday.

The poet of Laar (lower Sindh) was confined to bed during last couple of weeks due to the death of his poet son, Sangi Sujawali.

He was rushed to Karachi where his son Dr Usman Sarwech said that he had been diagnosed recurrence of spinal cord tumor.—Correspondent
