LAKKI MARWAT, July 26: Six unidentified men masquerading as cops kidnapped three persons along with two pick-up trucks in the Muslim Bagh area of Serai Naurang on Thursday morning, officials said.

They said the armed men wearing police uniform signalled two pick-up trucks, carrying chickens, to stop for checking near Muslim Bagh on the Dera-Bannu road.

As the trucks stopped, the armed men overpowered the drivers and drove away the vehicles along with three people. The kidnapped men were identified as Riaz Khan, Ghausullah and Bilal, the officials said.

Naurang circle DSP Umar Faraz Khattak said that one of the trucks was found abandoned in the Tatta Khankhel area.
