PESHAWAR, July 26: NWFP Governor Ali Mohammad Aurakzai has said that natural gas will be made available to the people of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas to the maximum possible extent

Talking to a delegation comprising elders and representatives of lawyers and traders from Hangu here on Thursday, the governor said it had been decided that the gas facility would be provided not only to the people in Hangu and Thall but also all the villages along the main supply line from Karak to Nowshera.

He assured the delegation that steps would be taken to expedite the upgrading of schools in the area address the problem of deficiency of staff.

He said steps would also be expedited to improve the facilities in the courts and the women’s hospital in Hangu. The delegation invited the governor’s attention towards lack of potable water in Togh Serai area and lack of staff, furniture and other facilities in certain educational institutions of the area.—APP
