KARACHI, July 25: The University of Karachi on Wednesday invited applications for merit-cum-need scholarships 2007 from students in Honours and Masters programmes. The students having cleared all courses, including those of this year’s first semester, securing overall 60 per cent are eligible for the scholarship. Application forms can be submitted before Aug 13.

The forms can be purchased for Rs10 from the KU branch of the National Bank of Pakis-tan and the United Bank Limited.

The evening programmes students and those who have applied for or been awarded fee concession are not eligible for the scholarship.—PPI
