Last-ball win for Zone-IV Whites

KARACHI, July 24: Arsalan Salim and Yasir Munir emerged as bowling and batting stars for Zone-IV Whites who recorded an exciting one-wicket win on the final ball against Zone-VI Blues in a KCCA Inter-zonal Under-17 Championship match at Pak Star Ground on Tuesday.

Off-spinner Arsalan grabbed five wickets for mere four runs to help dismiss Zone-IV Blues for 177 in the 48th over with Saqib Khan and Danish Nawaz making 36 and 32 runs respectively.

Zone-IV Whites reached the winning target on the last ball for the loss of nine wickets.

Meanwhile, Zone-V Whites defeated Zone-II Greens by 36 runs at the Landhi Gymkhana Ground. In the meantime, Zone-VII Whites beat Zone-III Blues by 39 runs at Asifabad Ground.
