MIRPURKHAS, July 8: The second additional sessions judge on Saturday adjourned hearing of a case against former DIG Rana Saleemullah Khan filed at the town police station to July 31.

Mr Khan’s counsel S. M. Saleem submitted an application to the court stating that his client could not attend the hearing due to imposition of curfew on the area in Islamabad where he resided. Mr Khan is presently out on bail.

ASSAULT: A 12-year-old boy was allegedly assaulted by a hotel owner at Khipro Naka Chowk on Friday night.

Report reaching here said that Musaddiq Khan, owner of a hotel, beat up his 12-year-old employee, Amir Khaskheli, and allegedly assaulted him.
