Health ministry sending medical teams to Sindh, Balochistan

By Our Staff Reporter

ISLAMABAD, July 3: The health ministry is dispatching doctors’ teams to flood and cyclone affected areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

A spokesman for the health ministry said on Monday that federal hospitals have been directed to form medical teams comprising male and female physicians, a surgeon, nurse, a dispenser and paramedical support staff.

These teams will look after the emergency health care needs of the flood-affected people and will be based at the camps established by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).
