KARACHI, July 3: Eight ships including three cement loaders are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was active where seven ships were berthed to load cement and unload containers. They are: Valbella, to load cement, Peter Paul, an oil tanker, Pacific Champion and Ocean Lion to offload coal, Haje Khereh to offload and load general cargo and Nimos, and Wan Hai-311 to offload and load containers.

Four vessels, Jihar, Gemini, Mary-H, and Kama Bhum departed on Tuesday, while Chien Chung, Nimos, Wan Hai-311m Harmony, Sea Princess, Jon Jin-2, and Mol Admiration are due to sail out on Wednesday.

A total cargo volume of 70,902 tons comprising 25,363 tons of export cargo and 45,539 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Seri, Al-Abdulla, Red Sea Spirit, to load 4,200, 5,200 and 16,500 tons of cement respectively, Silver Son, with coal, Andino Park, to load ethanol, Cosco Lion Yun Gan, Soon Fu, and Hyundai Stride, with containers.
