KARACHI: MQM chief on power crisis

KARACHI, June 25: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief, Altaf Hussain, has expressed concern over the power crisis in Karachi and demanded the government to take immediate measures to rid the people of prolonged power failures.

Addressing a party meeting in London on Monday, he asked the government to pay compensation to the injured and the heirs of those killed in rain-related accidents. He asked the government to pay compensation for the damaged properties due to rain in Karachi and other cities of Sindh.
