KARACHI, June 21: Berthing was active as three ships with containers and 17,730 tons of edible oil were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Thursday.

A total of six ships, Pacheco, Inori, Al-Mansourah, Doris, Adriane Jacob and Capt. George-L, were busy in loading and unloading containers, cement, edible oil, diesel oil and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 68,360 tons comprising 54,697 tons of import and 13,663 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Inori, Pacheco and Aria den Jacob left the port.
