PESHAWAR, June 13: A suspected robber was killed and two policemen sustained injuries in an exchange of fire in the industrial estate near Hayatabad Township on late Tuesday night.

Police said they were on patrol when they signalled to some six suspicious persons to stop. The suspects, however, opened fire at the police leaving two constables, Murtaza and Mashooq Ali, injured, police said.
