MIANWALI, June 3: A man who was acquitted in a murder case a year back on Sunday shot dead his elder brother, his wife and his sister over a family dispute at Mooch, some 22 kilometer from here.

Reports said the accused, Karim Nawaz alias Bhutto (32), had some dispute with his elder brother Karam Dad Khan (45).

Their elder sister Qudsia Yasmin (38) called the two brothers to resolve the dispute. While the matter was being discussed, the accused suddenly got flared up and in a fit of anger opened indiscriminate fire on his family members. As a result, Karam Dad his wife Tasleem Bibi (33) and sister Qudsia received fatal bullet injuries and died on the spot. The accused escaped after committing triple murder.

Deceased Karam Dad was a retired army man while Qudsia was an LHV.
