KARACHI, June 3: The Environment Day would be marked on June 5 with a gathering at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, said Sindh Environment Minister Sagheer Ahmed on Sunday.
The minister pointed out that environmental degradation was a serious problem as it was affecting every segment of society. He said that concerted efforts were required to deal with this issue.
Dr Sagheer asked people to supplement the government’s steps in this connection.—APP
