‘World Cup miss extend my career’
SYDNEY, May 16: Australian fast bowler Brett Lee on Wednesday said while he was disappointed that an ankle injury kept him out of the World Cup, the break from the game could extend his career by 18 months. “Initially it took me a while to get over the disappointment of missing the World Cup,” he said. “Once I pushed that aside, I definitely know that this is going to help me in the long term.”—AFP
