Don’t take WI lightly, warns Collingwood

LONDON, May 15: England all-rounder Paul Collingwood has urged his team-mates not to take West Indies lightly in the Test series which starts at Lord's on Thursday.

England, six places above the Windies in the Test rankings, are favourites to bounce back from their winter Ashes mauling and win the four-Test series.

But Collingwood told BBC Sport: "We certainly won't underestimate them. The Windies are unpredictable and that's the scary thing. If you're not prepared you can get blown away."

England have beaten West Indies in their last three series meetings, having gone 31 years without a series win over them between 1969 and 2000. —Agencies
