Teenage girl shot dead by cousin

RAWALPINDI, May 14: A 15-year-old girl was shot dead, allegedly by her cousin, in the jurisdiction of the Westridge police in the early hours of Monday, police said. Amina Bibi, 15, was sleeping in her make-shift house when her cousin came and shot her dead.

The police said that a family dispute could be the possible motive behind the murder.

The alleged killer is yet to be arrested by the police.

Meanwhile, four unidentified robbers entered a house in Chaklala Scheme III, looted gold ornaments and cash at gunpoint on Sunday, police said.

Nadeem Khan, lodged a complaint with the Airport police that four unidentified gunmen entered his house and held his family at gunpoint. The robbers beat him up, injuring him then snatched gold ornaments and cash from the family and escaped.
