Citizens robbed of cash, cells

LAHORE, May 13: Eleven robbers looted a house in Raiwind city here on Sunday night.

Jamil told police that the armed men entered his house and took away cash, jewellery worth Rs256,000.

Two robbers deprived a citizen and his sister of jewellery and cell phones in front of their house in the Punjab Housing Society.

Jehanzeb told police he was standing along with his sister at the door of their house when two armed men came to them and snatched jewellery and two cell phones from them and escaped.

Two robbers burst into the shop of Ghulam Akbar in the same locality and made off with Rs10,000 in cash.

Two motorcyclists deprived Mukhtar of cash, a cell phone and motorcycle in Shadbagh.

Two gun-toting men robbed Rafiq of cell phone at Main Chowk in Shahdara while as many armed men snatched cash and a cell phone from Raza in Sanda.
