Acting governor of Balochistan takes oath
QUETTA, May 3: Balochistan Assembly Speaker Jamal Shah Kakar was sworn in as acting governor of the province as Owais Ahmed Ghani has proceeded abroad.
Balochistan High Court Chief Justice Amanullah Khan Yasinzai administered the oath to Mr Jamal Shah at a ceremony at the governor’s house on Thursday. Judges of the high court, the provincial ombudsman and civil and military officials attended the oath-taking ceremony.
