PESHAWAR: 375 treated at medical camp

Bureau Report

PESHAWAR, May 3: Tanzeem Lissail-i-Wal-Mahroom, an initiative of the NWFP chief minister for indigent and dispossessed people, arranged a daylong free medical camp here in the Mashokhel area in collaboration with the Frontier Foundation Welfare Hospital and the Blood and Transfusion Services.

More than 375 patients received free treatment, says a press release issued here on Thursday.

Medical consultants conducted blood tests and diagnosed four each cases of hepatitis and diabetes.

The patients with minor illnesses were given treatment on the spot, while victims of major diseases were referred to hospitals.
