KARACHI, May 3: Five ships carrying containers, general cargo and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Friday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where four ships, Kota Perkasa, Hyundai Sprinter, Y.M.Moon, to unload and load containers, Beluga Fascination to unload and load general cargo were berthed on Thursday.

Two ships, APL Shenzanm and Mac Andrews Twiga, departed on Thursday, while Dominator, Kota Halus, J. Friend, Y.M. Moon, Nafto Cement, Beluga Fascination and Y.M.Faha are due to sail out on Friday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.143m tons comprising 27,670 tons of export cargo including 8,118 tons of rice and 6,697 tons of cement was handled.

The following ships are due on Friday; Swat, with crude oil, Regent and Al-Soor, oil tankers, Corin Thaikos, with containers and Safinaz, with general cargo.
