Clarification
QUETTA, April 29: A spokesman for the Frontier Corps on Sunday said that a foreigner arrested in Zhob by security forces on Saturday night was an ‘illegal immigrant’ and not a member of Al Qaeda as reported in the press. The FC clarified on Sunday said that Dawn’s story “gives an impression that the FC had acknowledged the foreigner’s association with Al Qaeda, which was incorrect. We only confirmed the arrest of an illegal immigrant”.
