KARACHI, April 29: Deputy Inspector General, Sindh Reserve Police, Ghulam Asghar Sheikh, has said 541 personnel of SRP have been promoted in different ranks with immediate effect.
According to an official handout issued on Sunday, he said 33 Assistant Sub-Inspectors had been promoted as Sub-Inspectors while 228 Head Constables and 280 Police Constables were promoted as Assistant Sub-Inspectors and Head Constables respectively.
The DIG said the departmental promotion committee would soon met and the police personnel who come on merit would be promoted.—PPI
