PCB officials appear before PEC

By Our Sports Correspondent

LAHORE, April 28: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) director Zakir Khan and chief curator Agha Zahid appeared before the World Cup's Performance Evaluation Committee (PEC) at the Servis House on Saturday.

Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) president Aamir Hayat Khan Rokhri could not appear before the committee. He would now record his statement on Monday.

“Zakir Khan expressed his views about Pakistan cricket team’s defeat in the World Cup and gave a detailed feedback about domestic cricket structure. Agha Zahid threw light on condition and preparation of pitches in Pakistan,” a spokesman of the committee said.

He added that Monday's meeting would be the last gathering of the committee after which it would compile a detailed report about the Pakistan’s debacle in the World Cup.
