Hanif XI beat Oman

KARACHI, April 25: Hanif XI handed a 5-2 defeat to Oman under-21 in their last friendly hockey match at UBL Sports Complex on Wednesday.

The local outfit opened the scoring with an Owais Khan goal in the seventh minute before Azlan Khan found the cage in the 15th minute. Adeel Hussain made it 3-0 for the winners two minutes later and Fahim Khan slotted the fourth in the 26th minute.

Oman reduced the margin on a penalty stroke through Hamood Muhammad Said Al Wahaibi in the 32nd minute.

Hanif XI completed the tally with a Haseem Khan strike in the 34th minute before visitors scored their second in the 44th minute on a penalty corner by Shareef Gharib Bakhit Bait Mabrook.
