ISLAMABAD, April 24: The Establishment Division has issued the names of the 65 officers of the district management group (DMG) who have entered the promotion zone by virtue of their seniorities.

These officers are serving in basic pay scale-20 currently and they include three joint-secretaries of the PM’s Secretariat, director-general of the Gawadar Development Authority, chairman of the Capital Development Authority, secretary to governor NWFP and a member of the inspection team of chief minister Punjab.

Officers enter the promotion zone by virtue of the time they spent in a department and their performances as determined by their respective annual confidential reports (ACRs).

According to a document of the Establishment Division, the officers in the promotion zone are: Kamran Lashari, chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Islamabad; Prince Abbas Khan, director-general National Archives of Pakistan, Islamabad; M. Sami Saeed, PSO to the prime minister, PM Secretariat Islamabad; Shafqat Hussain Naghmi, joint-secretary, ministry of food and agriculture and livestock Islamabad.
