KARACHI, April 23: Sindh Minister for Planning and Development Syed Shoaib Bokhari has asked public functionaries to provide justice to all those living in Sindh and solve their basic problems.

He was talking to a delegation of under-training deputy district officials (Revenue) led by Chief Instructor of National Institute of Public Administration Mir Javed Iqbal and Programme Coordinator Shugufta Waris who called on him on Monday

Talking to the under-training officials, Mr Bokhari said that you had achieved this position because of Sindh province. He said these offices and positions were a national trust. He said that it was your duty to serve all people living in Pakistan and Sindh with dedication and without any discrimination.

Earlier, Additional Chief Secretary (Development) Ghulam Serwar Khero recalled that when the present government came to power the annual development budget was Rs7 billion which had been increased gradually in 2006-07 to Rs32 billion due to the efforts of the minister.

On the occasion, Director-General Hakim Deen Tunio, Director-General (Monitoring and Evaluation) Khair Mohammad Bhutto briefed the officials about planning and development.
