Accident victim dies in Pims

ISLAMABAD, April 21: A man who suffered multiple injuries in a road accident last Tuesday died in the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) here on Saturday, hospital sources told Dawn.

The deceased had suffered multiple injuries after being hit by a vehicle on the Islamabad Highway near Khana Bridge.

He was shifted to Pims where he was being kept in the intensive care unit.

The man stated to be in his 60s was lying unconscious for the last three days.

The body had been sent to the mortuary for pending identification and legal process.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Khalil told the Sabzi Mandi police that he had parked his car (KZ-261-Islamabad) in front of his house in Sector I-10/4 from where some thieves took it away.

Likewise, Qaisar Mehmood’s car (JC-465-Islamabad) was stolen from outside a mosque in Sector F-8/2.
