DADU: Couple shot dead by relatives

By Our Correspondent

DADU, April 21: A woman and her husband were killed allegedly by their relatives over a matrimonial dispute in Mirzoo Khoso village, Mehar taluka, late Friday night.

Habiban Suhag, 23, and her husband Pyar Ali Suhag, 34, were shot dead by four men.

The aggrieved family and their relatives, placing bodies of the deceased on Mehar-Dadu road, staged a protest demonstration and blocked the road. They were led by Barkat Suhag, brother of Pyar Ali.

The Mehar police on the complaint of Barkat have registered an FIR against Ghulam Rasool, Inayat Suhag and two unidentified men.

ACCIDENT: Thirty persons were injured when a truck and a bus carrying workers of a mill collided near the Telegraph railway crossing in Kotri on Saturday.

Those injured -- including Abdul Sattar, Faraz, Khalid, Shahid, Ubaid, Aqil Ahmed, Bashir, Mohammad Nabi, Amir, Mohammad Zakaria, Arshad and Aleem -- were admitted to the Kotri Taluka Hospital.

The Kotri police have arrested truck driver Mohammad Khan and bus driver Basheer Ahmed.
